1974…

 

….. was a big year for me, leaving school, getting a job; more importantly it was the year that I bought ‘Burn’ and discovered Deep Purple, it was also my first big concert, Emerson, Lake & Palmer at Wembley Arena, with Quadrophonic sound.  We sat right near the front and dreamt of becoming rock stars ourselves! 

Currently listening to Deep Purple ‘Rapture of the Deep’, surprisingly good.
